We’ve been wadering around Nice, Cannes, Antibe and Monaco, from the sea to our hilltop appartement in Haut de cagnes for the first 5 days. Haut de Cagnes was a beautiful spot, a french village filled with hidden places to discover. We then wrapped up, ready for 6 hours on the ferry to Bastia, in… Continue reading Watching, holidays third post

Bleu et froid, holidays second post
Our second day in Nice, some more beach, some more of this great blue light. After people watching, we visited some hilltop villages in the mountains around. As you’ll see in the picture, i love to let the wind blow through my hairs while driving the car, this gives me a funny yet unconventional haircut.… Continue reading Bleu et froid, holidays second post
First day holidays, Nice’s beach
Anything better than a swim in the Mediterranean sea to recover from jet-lag. This picture was taken at our arrival in Nice. Due to the huge amount of picture and video material i took during the holidays, and since i did not had my computer with me while traveling, i’ll redo our travel itinerary over… Continue reading First day holidays, Nice’s beach

We could have been paparazzi
Sitting at a coffee facing “Tea & Sympathy” in New York, we saw from our window a bunch of paparazzi following a tall and skinny girl, dark brown with purple hairs, posing on a motor bike. I tried to see who this could be but could not. Hm, seeing the hairs, it could have been… Continue reading We could have been paparazzi
NYC, a daily chaos going on 24-7
New York city is stunning. But not all of it is good. I love the diversity, i love to see so many cultures mixed together, and all the different styles. The trashy, the ugly and the stylish all combined together creates some kind of a modern mosaic, a city standing on workarounds. No wonder so… Continue reading NYC, a daily chaos going on 24-7
NYC
De retour de NewYork, à peine le temps de souffler, défaire ma valise. J’ai plein de choses à écrire, de retour dès que j’aurai repris mon souffle!

What will Web 3.0 be
I got up with this question asked by Maria in my mailbox, here are my thoughts: Hopefully, a web by the people for the people: everyone wishing to have its own video, audio or written media channel will have it. Traditional media will be changed, created by contributions of citizen and journalist content; Web everywhere:… Continue reading What will Web 3.0 be

Recall from this entry i wrote the first day in Austin: I’ve met these folks who started a web based service where bloggers will be put in contact with publishers from traditional media (ie print medias) so that content from bloggers could be printed in your favorite newspaper next saturday. (the name of this service… Continue reading BlogBurst

Sleeping in Airports
someone sent me this link, a website listing all airports with user ratings about where/if it is possible to sleep and level of safety. could be useful.
United Airlines, in yer face
I’ve heard about nightmare stories from different people traveling: flight delayed, being stuck in cities for 24 hours or more, sickness, sleeping on airport benches and so on. I guess it was now my turn to face the airport nightmare. Starting in austin, from where i left the hotel at 9h30 am. As i am… Continue reading United Airlines, in yer face

“Tagging 2.0” – is tagging (user-driven description of data on the Web) *THE* key element of “Web 2.0”? What new tools can help us organize an internet’s worth of information for our own use and to share with others? Tagging systems are taking off now, what are the issues for communities of users and for… Continue reading panel 6: Tagging 2.0
