If you are interested in knowing when i brush my teeth, get up, go to bed, blow my nose, or go to the toilet, please just follow my twitterhysteria.
I remember Twitter a year or a while ago. Evan Williams was not one of the creator, it looked like a side project from the people who where developing Odeo. Twitter is there since a while, and most of the people who created it suddenly disappeared… Why and where are they gone?
I am exploring how i could turn twitter in something else than a self-branding name dropping tool, something like a fiction or an art project. ‘Till i find something, you’ll be able to follow my daily hygiene on twitter, and perhaps do the same.
Scratching your back? That’s interesting, MC 🙂 I am not personally appealed by the twittermania (maybe too old for that) but I am fascinated by the fact that many people don’t say “Waoh! That’s a geat tool that I dreamed of for a long time” but instead: “That’s a weired tool; I don’t know exactly what to do with it but I’ll try to figure out.” Some of them are lucky or clever enough (like my good friend Sylvain Carle) to leverage its reach for real. Most of them, however, just scratch their back. The bottom line was written a long time ago by Marshall MacLuhan: “The medium is the message”. I’ll add that we became active technology consumers in the meantime. It looks like we need more and more junk food to feed our egos and forget our literally vanishing world 🙂
