That’s what I would call a greenroof… !_!
And I think it is an excellent isolation against low and high temperature as well; there are more and more houses in Europe which have a green roof. And you can lay on it. 😉
I really love his work, I’ve been to a great exhibition of his work in Rotterdam a few years ago. I really like the fact that he shows new possible ways of living in these experimental buildings with gardens on top of them etc. Cities would be much better places if they had a little more Hundertwasser in them!
Nina, you are absolutely right. I wonder why there are not more “radical” architects out there… but maybe it’s too hard to get such a project financed.
