Just got back from the show and woah, again i’ve been struck by the beauty of the performance. Pretty intense visually, emotionally and music wise: these wonderful layering/transparency effects of strong images constantly projected on giant screens, addressing contemporary social issues by putting us in the shoes of a lost soul, add to this some world, afro beat and samba music mixed with perfect pop songs – in all, a must see, maybe more than once.
I got the chance to see the performance twice, second time being tonight, so i was able to focus more on the details than the overall. Delirium is sold as being a ‘live’ event, focusing on the fact that musicians are playing on stage during most of the show, but seeing it a second time made me realize that it is also a really strong dance performance, dance being constantly present in this show.
I cant hide my excitement about tomorrow’s event blogging: we’ll be live, but this time from under the stage. If you are there, think of us, hidding there, trying to be as small as possible.
