TED is different, i do believe it is.:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; TED bring together about 800 movers\/leaders\/shakers<br \/>\n&#8211; topics seems to converge around technology AND entertainment design business science and arts (list of speakers title does include explorer, entomologist, drummer and inventor) &#8211; so, seems to be something different than a &#8216;made by geek and for geeks&#8217; conference<br \/>\n&#8211; works by invitation only<br \/>\n&#8211; when you register, you automatically get enrolled into the TED book club at no extra cost and you&#8217;ll receive books and\/or cd dvds that relate in some ways with the upcoming TED<\/p>\n<p>Anyhow, i do not say that this IS the big thing, but proves that we can do things differently.
