I have been geeking around and skyping with my brother tonite – actually my first use of Skype<\/a>.<\/p>\n Whew, that was hell nice. I felt like kicking text messaging in the garbage can, it’s old fashion and takes too much of my energy. <\/p>\n Using Skype is easy as 123: subscribe, get the nick of the person you wanna have a chat with, ring his\/her bell and you’r in bizness. The sound quality is really good, even using a mac and my bro a pc, and the usual ‘you talk first and i talk then ‘caus we can’t talk at the same time’ of old audio conference software has finally disappeared.<\/p>\n ‘Audio conferencing’ is way different from a normal phone talk – it’s more something like the person you are talking to would be sitting right next to you: you can chit chat, then stop for a while, chat again as you want. <\/p>\n As i chatted with my bro, i surfed the web, we exchanged urls via the IM function and we exchanged files – way easy way cool.<\/p>\n At last, it seems like from skype, you can call anyone on a phone-line at a really cheap rate.
