The questions I asked myself were:

Does this project bring me happiness

Can someone help me carry this project or can I pass it on to someone else completely

Is this project worth it in terms of time spent vs. monetary retribution (notice that money is third here)

I figured that if a project was getting 2 checks out of three, I would consider letting it go. I also allowed myself 1 project that I could choose to keep even though it had 2 or 3 strikes. Working in this way, I eliminated 25% of the projects that I was heading and so, was able to recuperate 25% more time for myself.

How I’m going to use this time is entirely up to me, but one rule is that it has to be fun and not related to work (at least, not primarily). This includes: doing more Yoga classes and practicing more sports, watching non-documentary movies, reading non-business books, hosting dinner parties and going out to experience culture or just to dance.

Clever she is, when she clearly mentions non-documentary movies and non-business books – how often did i try to relax, this buy reading a super brainy business book, or watching a documentary movie where my brain could just not be off?
