{"id":1076,"date":"2005-05-18T14:35:35","date_gmt":"2005-05-18T18:35:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mcturgeon.com\/blg\/2005\/05\/18\/illness-oblige\/"},"modified":"2023-09-07T05:02:47","modified_gmt":"2023-09-07T10:02:47","slug":"illness-oblige","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mcturgeon.com\/blog\/2005\/05\/18\/illness-oblige\/","title":{"rendered":"Illness oblige"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>What to do when you are sick and feel like just washing the dishes is way too much of what you can handle right now:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; full your ipod of podcast, lay and listen (if you can hit the ff button everynow and then, this just to ensure you are still awake);<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; watch truly amazing video blogs of <a href=\"http:\/\/joshleo.blogspot.com\/\">people screaming<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/ia108024.us.archive.org\/2\/items\/A_Joke\/joke.mov\">muffins talking to each other<\/a>, and people <a href=\"http:\/\/ia108029.us.archive.org\/2\/items\/Music_Across_the_Miles\/music_across_miles.mov\">connecting accross miles trough vblog<\/a>;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; reading email (once the inbox is fully read, there is always the junk mail folder, but this can be quite borring, so i suggest you go on to next point);<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; read blogs &#8211; and when you have read all your usual feed, go on and browse trough new ones;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; and of course, the usual: read books, magazines, watch silly movies, but avoid daily tv shows since with a little fever these can turn out to be your biggest nightmares.<\/p>\n<p>I hate being sick.
