No, we’re not alone

“Our destiny, in my opinion, and we might as well get started with it, is [to] become a part of the planetary community. … We should be ready to reach out beyond our planet and beyond our solar system to find out what is really going on out there.”

New World Order

This illustration from Marco Marella suggest very well what i’d like to express about the actual economy crisis — that it may not be the end, but rather the start of a new era — one where we’ll be free from the fear that reigns all over, free from the consumerism bulimia, sovereign and responsible of creating a better world, thus a better economic system where no one’s gonna lack of a shelter, clothes, food and love — a new world where everyone will do loving and appreciated work, where art will have its place, where our humanity will thrive on the understanding that we are all one, connected-and-in-need of each other.

Meanwhile, if you see something like a spaceship tomorrow October 14th 2008, or any other day, let me know!

The Xfiles of Stephenville

Update: as a commenter pointed, it seems like they are still there – New UFO Sighting Reported In Stephenville Texas

For those interested, here are some news about the Stephenville-Texas UFO story we brought some weeks ago.

The local newspaper reporter who helped cover the UFO sighting case left for unclear reasons (although it looks like she was forced to keep information shut), and this witnesses of the UFO is being harassed by unfriendly army officers commanding him to shut his mouth off. People are now protesting the firing of Angelia Joiner for her coverage of Stephenville UFO sighting.

Meahwhile, details released by the Ministry of Defense of the UK reported last week that UFO sightings are on the rise. The Telegraph also has a coverage of these details.

The video above is just one of many. The question is, for me and many others, not about IF star beings are visiting us, but about WHY is the US government working so hard to hide facts and informations about UFOs. This in itself could be more scary than the UFOs themselves. If these beings are more evolved than us, with highly developed technologies, maybe we could trow out the horror-science-fiction-movie visions which are there, this along with our closed mind and strict ideas brought up by religion. Maybe they could be of help to us who have failed in taking care of ourselves and our planet – maybe they could show us the way to go, and help us develop new technologies and help us fix the damage done.

While i know that views and beliefs on the topic of ’star beings’ are different for everyone, i would be curious to know who of you do believe that these beings exist. I’ve added a poll to the sidebar, looking forward to your answers!

Hi it’s us !

In the last days, I’ve been surfing around the web to find what we as humans have been doing in order to get in contact with extraterrestrial beings. Here is what I have found on my way so far…

Hi, it's us!

The photo shows a part of the so-called Pioneer plaque which was placed on board of the Pioneer 10 (launched March 2, 1972) and Pioneer 11 (launched April 5, 1973) spacecrafts, featuring a pictorial message from humanity (among other things) intended to be found by extraterrestrial beings.

Voyager Golden Record

This photo shows the Voyager Golden Record which is actually a phonograph record included into two Voyager spacecrafts which launched in 1977. The record is also intended to be found (and played) by extraterrestrial beings and contains sounds as well as images to highlight the diversity of life on Earth: from music of Bach, Mozart, Chuck Berry, and also a speech of U.S. president Jimmy Carter (which I personally really like)…

We cast this message into the cosmos… Of the 200 billion stars in the Milky Way galaxy, some — perhaps many — may have inhabited planets and space faring civilizations. If one such civilization intercepts Voyager and can understand these recorded contents, here is our message: We are trying to survive our time so we may live into yours. We hope some day, having solved the problems we face, to join a community of Galactic Civilizations. This record represents our hope and our determination and our goodwill in a vast and awesome universe.

Scientists estimate that it will take around 40,000 years (!) until the spacecraft will be close to another star.

Other attempts to communicate with extraterrestrial beings are to send messages directly to certain stars. These messages – often called “cosmic calls” – consist of text, audio, image and video files which are encoded and transmitted as radio signals. For example a message was sent to the star system 16 Cyg A on May 24, 1999, with an estimated arrival time on November 2069. So it takes quite a long time before the signal reaches the target. There are many more messages sent, a list can be found here.

It seems most of the pictorial messages have been sent in the seventies. The only active communication attempts nowadays are radio signals / cosmic calls.

To sum up, it shows that we don’t yet have the right tools to reach out to other stars and extraterrestrial beings. What bugs me most is the fact that even radio signals travel too slow to reach other stars within an appropriate time frame. That’s frustrating. ;-)

New territories: Ufos and Metaphysical mumbo-jumbo

Whatever your beliefs are, i hope you wont be shocked the first time you’ll see an ufo, because it might be soon.

I must admit openly that i am a strong believer in stuff which have been categorized by many as metaphysical mumbo-jumbo, things i felt shy to openly share about.

If the image of the ‘New age’ person you had in mind is that of an illuminated, white dressed person, you were wrong. As a women who identify herself as being into metaphysics and new age stuff, i do not wear white. Maybe underwear but that’s it.

As i child i knew that i was not here for the first time, and i have memories of stuff a child could not make up. I always believed in karma and in reincarnation. I do believe i am surrounded by lower frequencies which keep me away from remembering my past lifes, and using the healing and manifesting powers i have. I do believe i had many lifes on this planet before the current one, and i do not believe in us being the only intelligent beings in the universe. I believe, as Einstein and many other historical figures have publicly claimed, that our thoughts are creating our reality – Imagination is more important than knowledge. All this is up to you to believe, please make your own researches, dig a little outside of your television and what your government wants you to hear.

Many believe our governments are trying to keep the situation in control, and hide the UFO files (see why there was a gathering about the topic last November, asking USA to open their UFO files, this for national security – some reads about this topic: BBC, the Gardian, Washington post).

I believe stories like what happened yesterday will soon be impossible to hide. So store your scifi books, ‘caus your local newspaper will soon be more entertaining.
