There is a silent revolution going on, a guerilla of creatives, leaving their footprints around. Goodness is spreading, slowly, but surely – and we each can be a part of it, but only by taking action, even the smallest one.
The picture above is from Natalija’s flower gifting – yes, gifting. Walking around and leaving flowers for strangers to discover, on the wiper of their car, at the feet of their door. Botanical benevolence she calls it.
Amongst many other inspiring activities, there is the Hope Revolution website which encourages you to create notes with messages of hope and leave them in public places. Visit their website, and flickr group.

This oh-so-needed inspiration benevolence should be an easy and fun thing to do, and as Christine suggested, you can make the difference in someone’s day with simple gestures: using chalks to write on streets, or add little notes to car wiper – whatever how, make it easy for your message to be shared!

heal your next cold with a
natural yogi remedy which should kick the virus out: 1 fist size chunk of ginger, boiled with 16 black pepper corn for 20 minutes – sweeten with honey and a decent amount of milk, drink over the day.

In my spring reading list i talked about the book The boss of you.
I have just found out that the authors have a blog to support the book, with resources for women trying to find their own way in creating a business, in the traditional business world which is often gray and dull.
I could easily relate to the post called Networking for Nonconformists, or how to stand out when you just dont fit in:
“When we started our business, one of the things that filled me with dread was the thought that to be a successful entrepreneur, I would need to master the art of glad-handing, delivering elevator speeches, and handing out business cards with aplomb (…)
… although we do encourage you to stretch a little beyond your comfort zone, we don’t insist you join a bunch of clubs where you won’t fit in. I really believe you can succeed in business without compromising the things that make you unique. After all, how are you ever going to stand out enough to be noticed if you follow the crowd?”
Another interesting read is the sample chapter of the book which you can get here. They also have a facebook page.

When I was a child I was watching every episode of “Fraggle Rock” (in Austria it was called “The Fraggles”). I was fascinated by the underground world where the Fraggles lived (together with the so called Doozers) as well as by the other worlds where the Gorgs lived or the human world (called as “Outer Space” by the Fraggles). I liked this multi-dimensional space, I was asking myself if the human world knows about the Gorgs and vice versa.
But the Doozers caught most of my attention. They were these tiny humanoid creatures which were busy all the time. Their life was dedicated to work and industry and they were creating these constructions all over the place where the Fraggles lived. And Doozers always had a steady stream of work to do since the Fraggles were eating their constructions which were made of a candy-like substance. And I loved the tiny constructions made by the Doozers: the bridges, the roads and the (pointless) scaffolding.

One morning – I was working on a sculpture – I had this flash: by looking at my sculpture I was thinking of the Fraggles and the Doozers and I recognized a certain similarity.

Since then I have to admit that “Fraggle Rock” was an inspiration for me: I was watching the series more than 20 years ago and since 2 years I create these “doozeresque” sculptures, so I have to admit publicly now: Sometimes I am a Doozer!

A great resource and good overall value for buying
natural health products online. Best prices for the
great Weleda products i wrote about some weeks ago (also their miraculous
Arnica cream).

These are pictures from last weekend. We went out on the country side, leaving the city and its vibrant soul behind, to reach something more calm where we could watch the world from a mountain top, be in silence with the trees.
These moments are some of the best ones, away from the busyness of our world, of our minds – i wish for this to happen more often. Nature and silence are a perfect combination to heal and get quiet enough to hear about what really matters.

Oh – this is new! It’s not comparing advertisement anymore, it’s supporting advertisement now!
Did Apple pay Lucky Strike to do this or did Lucky Strike pay Apple to use the shape of an iPod? Nice idea!
