Mountain bite
Yes i know, i am not writing so much these days. It is summer, and appart from the work i have to do, the internet has xtreme low priority in my life right now.
While you are on facebook, we must be somewhere where the grass is green - and soon we’ll lounge on the Cote d’azur beaches before heading to Corsica. Everything to forget that september is just some weeks away. uh.

Un Creacamp au soleil, du temps pour relaxer et écouter des créatrices nous parler de leur day to day, et de leurs créations - toujours aussi inspirant de profiter de ce moment pour m’incruster dans la vie d’autres entrepreneures!
Plusieures n’ont pas reçu les courriels d’invitations venant de la mailing list, je suis désolée, et quelle déception d’avoir du passer ce moment sans vous!!!
Cela dit, j’ai besoin d’aide pour faire parler de Creacamp - je tiens à faire vivre l’événement mais sans l’aide de chacune, je ne peux à moi seule assurer que le word of mouth se rende aux oreilles de tout les intéressés. Si vous désirez m’aider pour la prochaine édition, svp envoyer moi un courriel!

I love Montreal
I love Montreal so much that I spent my 8 day vacation here. Ok it’s also because I was too broke to go anywhere else. So I walked around the city, roaming with no aim whatsoever, like a tourist. I visited St-Leonard (wow;), Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (double wow;) and I went to visit some old colleagues in Old Montreal. I used to work at Café Titanic ten years ago, but never lost touch with the owners Patrick and Rob, who’ve also opened Cluny Art Bar, which is in the Darling Foundry. Unfortunately got there too late for lunch though, but check it out if ever you’re down there.
As you can see, i joined the Facebook community. Ping me there!

I am into redoing Vu d’ici’s design. Something which has been on my todo for the last 2 years, can you believe it?
Somehow, i did not know where to start. And now, i realize how difficult it is to create a new design for my blog - which is, i am thinking, more than ‘just a blog’.
This place has turned really personal. A collection of my pictures, favorite links, a collage of my thoughts and artwork, a diary, a note book, a sketchbook - all this used as a virtual window on my life which anyone can see.
So yes, it is not just about changing the style and look of this space, its not about switching a new theme on - it is about making it as close as possible to who i am, what i am, and creating a flexible container for the precious stuff i want to archive and share. This space is not a blog anymore, it is the virtual-me.
Young and wise
I think never before i have been so aware of the fact that i am, like every other being, getting older. “Getting older” until now sounded to me like ‘grow up to become an adult’ - i guess it should have stopped there, once you are an adult. You grow up, and remain, an adult. No moving further, i should not get older. I should not reach the day where girls my age are getting pregnant and moving into family mode. My boyfriend should not get gray hairs, my mom should not retreat, my brother, this small thing i’ve seen from his day one on earth, should not become a dad!
And oh dear, it isn’t about responsibilities - i moved out at 18, and have handled everything by myself from this day. It is about changing, growing as a plant to a three, becoming a forest. Maybe it’s about control. About me not standing the idea that nature control my life and will, whatever i do, give all people i love gray hairs. I am fighting to stand eyes wide open to notice my now, taking mental pictures of everything and getting my stuff ready because sooner than later, i’ll find myself surrounded by old, but wise, friends.
our bodies as landscape for digital life to explore
Delicate Boundaries, a work by Chris Sugrue, uses human touch to dissolve the barrier of the computer screen. Using the body as a means of exchange, the system explores the subtle boundaries that exist between foreign systems and what it might mean to cross them. Lifelike digital animations swarm out of their virtual confinement onto the skin of a hand or arm when it makes contact with a computer screen creating an imaginative world where our bodies are a landscape for digital life to explore.

Exploring
I’ve been doing yoga since 2001. At that time i was living in hamburg, germany, and went to a session of Kundalini Yoga suggested to me by a friend. Since then, doing yoga has been the best way i found to calm down, and most of all, to get back to what i could call my real essence - getting a clear perspective on what’s important, i mean really important, on the long run, and clearly see what is the essence of what i want.
There are many different kind of yoga, and meditation practices. I think there’s something for each kind of people - each of us has to try what feels good to try, usually a strong gut feeling will show you what’s best for you (meaning, my kind of practice will maybe not fit you!).
As a curious person, i do love exploring these new fields - different practices of yoga and meditation - not in a naive way, but more as a way to open my mind and find my own way to connect body and soul with nature and creativity, something our culture has in my opinion failed to teach us. Go, explore!

- BYOB : Bring your own blanket! pour vous assoir, cela créera une superbe mosaique au sol!
- picnic : apportez qqchose à boire, et à grignoter pour le picnic
- échange de livres : apportez 1 ou 2 livres qui vous ont inspiré, et qu’il vous fera plaisir d’échanger
- blahblah : Si nous sommes plus de 20, de petits groupes seront formés pour discuter. Si nous sommes moins de 20, nous discuterons tous ensembles!
- marché : bijoux, vêtements, livres - apportez vos créations pour les faires voires!
- collages 6×6 : si vous désirez participer, préparez une enveloppe contenant quelques papiers colorés, une citation écrite qui vous représente, ainsi que votre nom écrit. Cette enveloppe pourra être échangée, et le matériel servira à créer un collage de 6″ par 6″ (voir projet 6×6 sur flickr).

Parc Lafontaine, 13h à 15h, le 22 juillet 2007.

laissez-moi savoir si vous désirez faire une courte présentation (10 minutes max, sans projecteur ou ordinateur, nous serons dans un parc!).

Cybervedette de la plate-forme, le WebJockey Énergie se doit de veiller à sa tâche avec intensité, originalité et imagination puisque chaque jour, les usagers de radioenergie.com ont droit de vote et évaluent sa performance. Si la communauté virtuelle en décide ainsi, la star aura à céder sa place à un nouveau venu qui, à son tour, devra animer, divertir et séduire les internautes membres pour conserver son titre…
Pour ce projet, meïdia a été en charge de la création du concept et de son implémentation.
