German Chancellor to launch podcast

“As the German federal government announced today, Angela Merkel is to start her very own video-podcast. From June 8th on, interested citizens can subscribe to the chancellor’s feed and will be informed about the state of the nation on a weekly basis.”

via wmmna and spiegel online.

German bloggers often complained about germany being so far away on the web 2.0 scene: now they’ll be far advanced with their chancellor being – i think – the first one using video-podcast to reach citizens.

    Sexy Angie! ;)
It’s a good thing she’s on the political scene in Europe these days. Sans elle… On serait pogné avec des nouvelles de Chirac ou Blair. Don’t get me wrong… I ain’t a “rightie”, mais elle est rafraichissante.
