Update: here is the interview.
*
The interview went well – host Shelagh Rogers was so kind and so enthusiastic, it was real fun. If only i could remind a word of what i said. Did anyone got a chance to record it?
The music played is from what i’v chosen :
The Upwards March by Bell Orchestre from the album Recording A Tape the Colour of the Light and The Plow by Champion from the album Chill’em All.

Just as i gave an interview about podcasting this morning, someone pointed me to a Wired article about women in podcasting. Seems like the Portable media expo which took place last week was filled by… men:
“What she found at the conference was a world overwhelmed by male voices and male exhibitors. Malley said she didn’t experience any other incidents she perceived as sexist, but she was nonetheless struck by the dearth of female faces. Just 15 percent of the 2,000 attendees were women (…)
Leighton said he believes the male skew is largely due to the newness of the medium and the fact that many of the most popular podcasts focus on, uh, podcasting.”
Why why why… Are women ‘followers’ in new web technologies? Will this stay like that forever? Looking around, i dont know that much of female podcasters…

What kind of advertising you will find here:
I am trying to promote young entrepreneurs and organizations who are shaping our future as a collectivity, on a small or worlwide scale. This said, it is open to any young entrepreneur or startup to let me know about their services or product and i’ll see if this is the kind of promotion i want to do. There is already exchanges of services between me and several young labels and business which i strongly feel like supporting.
What kind of advertising i dont want you to find here:
You wont find Google Adsens adds, and I dont want to do advertising for corporations or companies which i do not feel like i relate to (even if this can be a little beyond my control at some point).

Tomorrow is the Day.
I’ll be giving an interview on the Sounds Like Canada CBC radio One show about my views on the blogging and podcasting world, and stuff i do that involves new web technologies.
T’es tu nerveuse m-c?
oui et non.
As tu hâte? cé gros hein!
I had to choose 3 pieces of music that will be played during the show. I took special care to choose pieces that represent a lot to me, bands from around here. Stay tuned.
Sounds Like Canada takes you to the communities and people who make this country so diverse, complex and exciting. Shelagh Rogers invites you to join her and her guests weekday mornings at 10 o’clock.
Tomorrow, i’ll be talking to you, Canada. 10′ am.
