Aujourd’hui, mes cheveux sentent bon

parce que je suis allée les faire couper. Pour pas très cher, on vous mets pleins de substances qui les rendent doux, et qui les font sentir bon. Alors aujourd’hui ils sentent bon, sont doux et plus luisants que jamais. Plus court aussi. À chaque visite chez le coiffeur j’hésite entre le changement radical du mowak ou le .3 cm à enlever sur la longeur. C’est le .3 cm qui a gagné aujourd’hui.

avant l’épisode de la coupe, je me suis bien fait prendre (oh toi méchante pluie). C’est détrempée à l’os que j’ai fait mon entrée au salon de coiffure en leur demandant si dans le prix de la coupe ils incluaient le séchage, et si oui, si on pouvait sécher mon linge.

De l’abut? mais non… Je suis repartie, jeans secs, dans mes runnings complètement submergés d’eau de pluie smoush smoush.

et avant tout ça, en me levant ce matin, je pouvait entendre les cris des anglos à ma fenête msn : “hey m-ccccc.. what the fuck is that, i dont get all the french stuff on your blog, and the last podcast, it’s all in french!?”.

Advienne que pourras qu’elle se dit. Je vais penser à ça en mangeant mes céréales.

“There is a picture of us in the National Post”

That was a SMS from Julien around 18h. Pick up the National Post and yeah, there is a huge picture of us – the picture that was used last week for The Gazette coverage about my show. So they basically used this picture of us beside an article about podcasting taken from the Financial Times…

They used our faces in real big (amazing i tell ya) and didnt even asked or noticed us about the use of this picture that was taken for another newspaper.

Can we do something about that beside sending them a mail telling them that we are kinda’little pissed off?

Dudes, we’ve got some kind of a gem here – Death cab for cutie’s latest is gonna blow your mind. Soul meets body is available on iTunes, the album release is for august 30th.

It does stick in my head and pushes all worries away. For that, i am sending all my love and appreciation to the band members for creating such music.

Dont know if this is supposed to be hidden, but i found it and since we’re friends (i suppose we are), i am sharing it with you guys: some random footage from Death Cab for Cutie in the studio finishing up Plans.

On their official website, Chris wrote:

Just about to leave for a long and nice weekend, a conversation is taking place on msn…
friend A: “i hate you. i didnt wanted to tell you before but i hate you. I cant stand you, you are so (biiiip) and (biiiip)”
friend B: “mange un char de (biiiip) – té qui toi pour me balancer un char de (biiiip) de même? on se voit une fois aux 2 mois pis tu vas me faire croire que chui responsable de ton malheur?”

I was friend B. I had terrific hours trying to understand how someone you know since ages can be so bitter and then hurt you this way. Bitterness is something no ones needs around. Bitterness, or jealousy, points you the way you would like to go – met tes culottes ti-gars pis déniaise.

Then, driving hours with loud music, spending time on the country side, eat sleep swim, drive back to da big city and get back to work.

Et ce soir, journaliste et photographe du Wouaire étaient chez moi pour un article qui paraitra la semaine prochaine. Comme je disais à l’autre, tout le plateau vont maintenant connaitre ma face. Et l’autre s’empressa de laisser savoir à la blogosphère entière ce qu’il pensait de mon plateau.
