Italian Glamour featuring Vu d’ici
Thx to Denis who took the time to send me a scan of the tech page of Glamour Italy featuring an interview with me about podcasting - something tells me that Steevo should send me a new ipod for the nice advertising i am doing for apple’s products again…
So yeah, as it often happens with mags, you never know how things are gonna turn out, but still, this one’s gonna join the wall of fame.
You can find the page right here, and read the english version of the interview here - it’s basically about my views about podcasting and the how, what and why.

Watch out ‘coz Odeo’s comming -
Droped by web pioneers Noah Glass and Evan Williams, Odeo was annouced at the TED conference last week - did i wrote about the TED conference yet? If your answer is yes, what a good reader you do!
So yeah, i was a little late on reading my feeds, took some-kind-of-weekend-off. But here’s one of most promising start up related to podcasting.
Evan Wiliams on Odeo:
Odeo aims to enable this new distribution channel and medium by creating the best one-source solution for finding, subscribing to, and publishing audio content.
Read the whole story, How Odeo Happened on E. Wiliams’s blog.
Who is and what will Odeo be? from the NYT coverage on Odeo:
That step is planned by Odeo, a five-person start-up that is based in a walk-up apartment in this city’s Mission District and was co-founded by a Google alumnus. The company plans to introduce a Web-based system that is aimed at making a business of podcasting - the process of creating, finding, organizing and listening to digital audio files that range from living-room ramblings to BBC newscasts.(blablabla)Compared with the other various approaches so far, Odeo (pronounced OH-dee-oh) means to be podcast central - an all-in-one system that makes it possible for someone with no more equipment than a telephone to produce podcasts and also makes it possible for users to assemble custom playlists of audio files and copy them directly onto MP3 audio players. The company plans to make money by selling audio content and advertising and, eventually, software for producing and editing podcasts.

CHER CARNET
The Artist Way
I have been reading a bunch of books about the creative process over the last years, one of them being The Artist Way.
I was talking with a friend tonight about the book but i just couldn’t find the words to describe how much it influenced the person i am today. And i know it did change many people’s life, be it many of my friend’s lifes.
I ‘did’ the book - caus it’s not a book you can only read - in 2002. I feel like at that moment it was exactly what i needed, and many things in my life changed and got much clearer. Difficult to explain how, but it took me out of a thick blur i was in.
I was wondering how many of you know about the book or actually worked with it at some point - i am curious about it.
Here’s the link to the book by the way: The Artist Way.
Et pis
17h49

aller me promener,
Would you have bought a flickr account if…
you would have know?
(ok ok, nothing’s done yet, but rumors are there..)

GM goes for blog, and podcasting!
Started in january 05, now getting a little more personal with the vice chairman himself starting to blog:
January 05th -
After years of reading and reacting to the automotive press, I finally get to put the shoe on the other foot. In the age of the Internet, anybody can be a “journalist.” This is the first of many commentaries I will make on this forum, and I’d like to begin with, surprise, some product talk -
January 08th -
Wow
I’m impressed with the passion and insight of you fastlane bloggers.
and then, on feb. 10th, their first podcast.
Italian readers?
The march issue of the Italian Glamour is out in italie - any reader from there would be so kind to send me a scan of the interview i gave to them?
The interview was about podcasting + some of my illustration stuff.
It might take weeks before i get my copies here…
Life Manifesto
All this stuff around podcasting inspired me - raising questions that are basically relating to me, my life and the way i choose to take on things.
I do claim the right to be wrong -
take the wrong decision,
choose the wrong path,
to make spelling mistakes,
to balble,
dable,
eeeee and aaaaaaa,
stumble on words ‘caus my english is not perfect.
Neither are my writing skills.
Neither am i.
But whatever it is that i feel like doing,
for sure there will always be someone else to do it better than i do.
So, why bother?
