I think I’m gonna discuss about what I love: creativity, books, chocolate, jewels, art, multimedia and so on… I’m gonna discuss about things that I hate: my job (for now), my job and my job.

“When it’s over, I want to say: all my life
I was a bride married to amazement.
I was a bridegroom, taking the world into my arms.
When it’s over, I don’t want to wonder
if I have made of my life something particular, and real.
I don’t want to find myself sighing and frightened
or full of argument.
I don’t want to end up simply having visited this world.”

We all know that i am not so much into politics, but these days, it’s kind of difficult -see impossible- not to care about it.
Found via tangente.org:
Since the end of the Cold War, the United States has been the world’s only superpower. Some say a “hyperpower”. America holds sway over the world like no other country in the entire history of humankind. It dominates in the 5 spheres of power: political, economic, military, technological, and cultural.
In light of this fact, the question we should ask ourselves is: If the US holds such influence over the rest of the world, shouldn’t all citizens of the world have the right to vote in the next US presidential election?
We invite all citizens of all nations to vote for the next President of the United States of the World. Of course, your vote won’t count on November 2nd but speaking-up does.

One of the first ‘online mag’ which i think is well done. I am surely sick of the flipping pages effect that many people tried to reproduce as in paper books.
I think this one is finally up for the web and the design is just so slick.

I know i have been lazy, but here’s a new track, for this week’s obsession:
Island in the sun – Weezer
When you’re on a holiday
You can’t find the words to say
All the things that come to you
And I wanna feel it too
On an island in the sun
We’ll be playing and having fun
And it makes me feel so fine
I can’t control my brain
When you’re on a golden sea
You don’t need no memory
Just a place to call your own
As we drift into the zone
We’ll run away together
We’ll spend some time forever
We’ll never feel bad anymore

Got my new computer, fully equipped with an airport card. This means, i surely will be trying out some of our mtl hotspots.
Since i am new to this, here’s a quick list of how to get going with wifi in mtl:
* Ile sans fil
Les usagers peuvent utiliser internet à certains endroits appelés points d’accès (–> hotspots), à condition d’avoir à leur disposition un ordinateur portable équipé d’une carte WIFI (as i now have).

I, starting from today, will stop using ‘chumé’ as a nickname for my new friend, for a simple reason being that i can -now that i know him a little more and that he just doesn’t know what chumé means and i cant find the right word to translate cette expression qui nous viens tout droit du fond d’une région québecquoise- use a proper name to write about him, without of course revealing his true identity.
Dear pals, chumé will from now on be named monsieur p. (p. is actually standing as the first letter of his first name and nothing else than that -you twisted mind…).
* * *
So yeah, i am crazy about pecan pie, now that monsieur p’s mother brought him some of this exotic home made desert last weekend.
