Hi there,
I don’t have breakfast that often (more like an early lunch), but I do like to make a big pot of stewed apples once a week and then I sometimes have some with couscous. Another favourite for breakfast is a grain, like millet, served puffed (you can buy it at health food shops) with rice milk (I find soy milk too heavy and sweet - rice milk is thinner and more ‘watery’).
BTW millet is Hirse in German (gierst in Dutch).
hm, snds yummie…
i would like to know how you “puff” the millet,
any other recepies maybe? :))
I looked it up on the Internet and you have to buy it puffed (it is done under huge pressure), but you should be able to get it at a health food shop.
I have to hand over the computer now (!) but I will post a stewed apple recipe for you tomorrow.
Cheers!
