i have another definition of artist:
someone who recognizes the beauty and fragility of life and is willing to let it reflect on what she or he does every single day. one who realizes that there are other ways of looking at things and at life in general.

Originality is also about being true to
yourself. It’s about bucking trends, and going
purley based on what you feel in your gut.
Sorry to say, but a lot of people
act like robots in this world, and follow
like blind sheep. Then they reach
middle age and wonder what the hell happened.

Hi, what is your definition of a designer? Just curious, because I am learning to be one, and wanted to know what people consider a designer. You have written a definition about an artist, what is the difference in your mind between an artist and a designer.
    Thanks.

    uh, oh.. what a question…

i think, if i base myself on my experiences, that a good designer is someone how has talent AND intuition. Someone who can understand well someone else (the client) needs and give him what he think is best for his need.

Desginwise, its about having trust in the direction you decide to take and making the right choices in all the possibilities we have.

    i hope this help you a little…
